USC Digital Marketing is a presencial and specific master of the University of Santiago de Compostela that the next academic year 2021/22 will start the 7th edition.
Why is necessary a Digital Marketing Master?
The Internet has increasingly more presence in the society and is triggering important changes in the structure of all the business industries. It is being used as a communication, information and transaction mean. It leads to the appearance of new companies, new job opportunities and new businesses on the line.
We have gone from transactional marketing to relationship marketing and the consumer, thanks to the new technologies, has become the key player of all the strategic actions and communication activities in the business. The companies need specialists that understand these changes and that are trained in the recent trends of digital marketing.
The last Ranstad Professional survey shows that the Sales and Marketing sector is among the strategic areas for job development, especially in the digital area, and the Marketing Director 2.0. Is one of the most required profiles by companies. This master will specialize professionals in demanded areas such as online community management, web project creation and planning, SEO/SEM consulting, Mobile Marketing, planning and implementation of online marketing campaigns and other advanced techniques of digital marketing.
Face to face teaching. All sessions will include debate and analysis of real cases and practical exercises. Students will also have online conferences with prestigious specialists in several business sectors that will talk about actual problems they face and how they solve them applying digital marketing strategies. Furthermore, the students will develop a project for a Galician company during the year, which has to be presented at the end of the course and, based on the results, implement it in the company.
LESSON STRUCTURE:
The program is designed for the student to achieve 4 essential objectives:

During the course, students will analyze in detail a company and will develop a Digital Marketing Plan as their Final Project (TFM).
In case the company already has an online Marketing plan, the student will develop a specific section of the plan. At the end of the course, the students will present orally their Digital Marketing plan (TFM) before an evaluation panel in order to obtain the Master’s certificate.
One member of the panel will be a manager/representative of the company assigned.
Voluntary internships in a company:
The first day a company is assigned to each student who will develop all the necessary units for the implementation of the online plan for that business. Once the student finishes all the units, a voluntary internship may be done prior agreement between student and company.
By filling a form on the virtual secretary of the University of Santiago the Compostela.
Given the practical nature of the master’s degree, in order to provide personalized attention to each student and maintain the high quality of teaching, the number of places is limited.
Admission is LIMITED to 20 students. Students can access to the Master with a minimum of 30 pending credits to obtain their degree. The student must pass all credits to obtain the Master.
The application order will be part of the criteria for the selection process. After a personal interview, the student will be notified if accepted to enroll in the relevant date.
Before enrolling, the student has to fill an application form that will be published in CEP website.
Once the personal interview is done and the student is notified of the allocation of the place, the enrollment can be done.
Students can access to the Master with a minimum of 30 pending credits to obtain their degree.
The student must pass all credits to obtain the Master.
